Currently offering programs in beautiful Claremont, California
In September, 1999, ConductAbility began a pilot program with Danbury School and the Claremont Unified School District. This program has sought to integrate conductive education into a typical public school special education school setting. Our conductors work as a team with the regular special education teachers. At first, we started in a kindergarten classroom and the program move up with the students that participate. As the students moved from kindergarten to first grade, the conductive education program moved with them. The conductors currently serve a significant portion of the appropriate population in the district including Danbury School and Claremont High School. This takes place in a number of ways. There is a dedicated multi-grade classroom which focuses on CE and assistive technology. There is also an early afternoon program focused specifically on CE and incorporating students from various classrooms and the high school. The conductors provide services in various classrooms throughout the district aiding with positioning, best accommodations, and appropriate activities. If you have any questions regarding this program, please contact us at email@example.com.
**Please be aware that the CUSD program is part of the Claremont Unified School District. Therefore, a student’s placement into the program is in accordance with CUSD policies and discretion. Acceptance into one of ConductAbility’s private programs and/or moving into the CUSD area does not guarantee placement into the CUSD conductive education programs. Please contact us and we will direct you to the appropriate person to work with at CUSD.
The afterschool program meets four days per week; Monday, Tuesday and Thursday from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm and Wednesday from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm at Danbury School in Claremont California.
